We offer exceptional kidney and pancreas transplant services, including thorough evaluations and postoperative management. Our world-renowned team of nephrologists, along with transplant and surgery specialists, achieves excellent transplantation success rates by using advanced pre- and post-transplant diagnostics, including the latest imaging technologies, to assess donor organs and recipients.

Liver Disease & Transplant Care

From proactive diagnostics and chronic care to innovative treatment plans for those impacted by liver disease, our team of renowned physicians, along with hepatology and surgery specialists, offers a wide range of clinical services focused on lifelong liver health for those with complex liver conditions.

Our Comprehensive Liver Program is a premier destination for transplants in children and adults with acute or chronic liver disease and liver cancer. Our expert specialists use the most advanced pre- and post-transplant diagnostics, including the latest diagnostic imaging technologies, to evaluate donor livers and recipients.

Hepatobiliary diseases include both benign disease and cancers of the liver, bile ducts and pancreas, including complex gallbladder disease.   Our team at Montefiore Einstein Advanced Care specializes in hepatobiliary disease and includes partners in hepatology, gastroenterology, and medical oncology.

Because of the multidisciplinary nature of the Hepatobiliary Program, patients with hepatobiliary conditions have access to coordinated care that enables seamless diagnosis and comprehensive treatment plans.  We review all cases at weekly team meetings.  When surgery is necessary, our nationally known surgical team has advanced training in hepatobiliary surgery, including liver transplantation, pancreatic and liver surgery, complications of gallbladder disease and robotic surgery.

We will coordinate surgical scheduling with our world-renowned surgeons at one of our health system's many locations.
